Privacy policy

This policy applies to “Mitaka Forest Museum Notes” (https://japan-museum.website), a personal hobby site operated by Ryota Endo (遠藤 涼太). It is not a corporate membership service.

1. Information I collect

The contact form collects your name, email address, subject (question / PDF notes / donation), and message. There is no telephone field. If you prefer to call, use the published operator number. I do not set advertising cookies. Standard server logs may keep a time, IP address, and browser string.

2. Why I use it

• To answer questions about the articles
• To send the personal PDF notes when you ask for them
• To confirm PDF contents and to discuss an optional donation
• To acknowledge a donation and to thank you
• To deal with abuse of the form

Email exists here so I can reply and, if you request it, send a PDF file. If you ask for the notes, I will use the same address for delivery and for any talk about payment. I will not add you to a newsletter. I will not sell addresses. I will not pass them to a marketing list.

3. Storage and sharing

Messages stay in my mailbox for as long as a reply might still be needed. The working rule is one year after the last reply, then deletion. I do not give the data to other people except where the law requires it. The mail provider that delivers the message may process it technically in transit.

4. Access, correction, deletion

To see, correct, or delete what you sent, write to [email protected] or to the address below. I may ask you to confirm the name and email used on the form.

5. People under sixteen

If you are under sixteen, ask a parent or guardian before using the form. PDF files are safer when they go to an adult’s inbox.
